Saying Good-bye to our Frederick, MD Home
Hello friends,
Life is full of seasons. Wouldn’t you agree? There are seasons where we’re thriving and seasons where we’re pausing. There are seasons that are busy and seasons that are slow. This reminds me of the scripture in Eccl. 3:1 which says..
“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”
Personally, this has been a season filled with lots of changes for me and my husband. Many of you know that we recently sold our home in Frederick, MD and have relocated to the Tampa, FL area. In fact, we are currently staying at our Clearwater, FL Airbnb (our most recent Airbnb that we’ve fixed up) until we find a house. You may be asking, ‘Why move?'‘ Well….my husband can work remotely now. We love the weather in FL and since we already have 2 Airbnb’s in this area, we thought it would be easier to manage them if live closer to them. However in saying all of this, leaving our home and friends in Maryland was not easy. It was very bittersweet.
The other big change that happened this year is that our daughter got married in April! Yay! We are so excited for her and we love our new son-in-law. As a parent - seeing your children grow up is beautiful and also bittersweet. Their wedding was so beautiful! Here are a few pics….
Aren't they the cutest couple? :-)
Let’s face it…life will always be filled with change. Change is inevitable. I’m learning to not fight the changes in my life - but to embrace them with a “palms up” attitude which is one of surrender and trust.
So, on that note…
to help bring closure to the season of moving…I thought I would share some pictures of our home and all of the changes that we’ve made through the 6 years that we lived in it. Note: Many of the BEFORE pics were taken from an old phone and aren’t the best quality. :-)

Living Room - Through the Seasons:
Do you remember these large mirrors that I found at a thrift store? I loved using these in my Living Room decor! I packed these away so hopefully I can find a place to use them in our next house!
We added a board and batten wall (in a square pattern). I love the character that this brought into this space!

This home has been such a joy to decorate and bring to life. My favorite thing about this home is the memories we made here with family and friends! I know that the new owners will love it just as much as we did. Thanks for all of your encouragement these past few months, friends. I truly do appreciate you!
Sending hugs from afar! xoxo
