Boho Bedroom Refresh
/Hello Friends! How are you?
In my last post, I shared with you the accent wall that we did in one of our bedrooms. Today, I’m showing you the completed bedroom makeover! Woohoo!!! Are you ready??
First let me refresh your memory on this bedroom. This was my daughter’s bedroom and we haven’t changed it up since she went away to college. Here is how it looked. It wasn’t bad…just a bit boring.
We sold this bed and bedding and added a geometric patterned accent wall….see post on how we did the wall here.
Are you ready to see the BIG reveal? I used this pic from Ashley @modernly_you as my inspo pic and guide as I designed this space. Wow! What a difference!
So, drumroll please….here’s the tour around our new boho bedroom!
A beautiful bedroom always starts with a quality bed. I received this one from @zinus and I love it! The mattress is a Cooling Copper Adaptive Hybrid Mattress. The copper keeps you cool while you sleep and it’s also infused with green tea - which keeps it smelling clean and fresh. :-)
i was a bit skeptical to think that this mattress would keep me cool at night - but I was wrong! The copper in the mattress really does work and I sleep better on this mattress than any other because I don’t like being hot when I sleep!
The bedframe is also from @Zinus and it’s called: Moiz. I love the simplicity of this platform bed and love how it compliments (and doesn’t distract) from the accent wall.
The sheets are from All Cotton and Linen who specialize in 100% organic cotton sheets. I love how they feel next to my skin when I sleep! What can I say…with our Airbnb business….I’m a sucker for good sheets!
The throw (pictured above) at the end of the bed is from @teematowels. It is a blanket that can be styled in your home or brought to the beach. These turkish towels are so soft and there are so many beautiful styles to choose from!
I love the fact that the walls (painted in SW Shell White) and carpet are neutral in this space which makes it easy to change up the accent pillows and throws! This throw (shown above) is from @Target. Unfortunately, these are no longer in stock…but here’s a similar one from Bed Bath and Beyond.
This white/black rug is from Homegoods and I haven't been able to find a similar one (you know how that goes!).

The wall decor is from a new company that I just found called: Boxed Home Decor. It’s a home subscription box that comes right to your door each month. They have such quality items! The basket in here and the print in the picture beside the bed are also from them!
On the back wall, I added a beautiful hanging planter from an etsy shop called: Built with my Bare Hands. I love the natural wood and the leather straps that hold the white ceramic mini planters. This is perfect to add to any minimalistic/boho space. I also love the motto of this small shop which is that every now and then we should be able to say, that we “built something with our bare hands!”
I added beautiful succulents from a company called: Succulents Box. This is a monthly subscription box that comes right to your door every month filled with gorgeous succulents. Isn’t this neat? It’s the perfect gift for any plant lover!! I’m so impressed with how they arrived in the mail in such great condition! (They also include instructions on how to care for them, too!)
This desk is actually a vanity - and it lifts up! I store my makeup in here.. I found this vanity/desk at a thrift store and painted it white.
Well, friends…thank you so much for touring this boho bedroom with me! Even though this is the smallest bedroom in my house…it’s my new absolute favorite! It’s so cozy and minimalistic. Just up my alley!
