Hello everyone!

I hope that you’re doing well and that you’re enjoying this winter season. I recently had the opportunity to travel to Massachusetts to help a friend decorate her office. She works from her office everyday (unless she’s traveling) and has been asking me for awhile to help her out with making it pretty yet functional so we finally made it happen!

Here are a few before pics of her office:

Our goal was to make this space more inviting and pleasant so that she would love working in here!

We got rid of her desk and moved everything out so we could start with a fresh slate.

We then went on a shopping excursion to find furniture and accessories for her office.

Next, we painted her walls a Sherwin Williams color called: Sea Serpent.

While the paint dried, we put together some of her new furniture and had a great time doing that as you can see (even though we’re both technically challenged with tools!). :-)

We then began to set up her new office. Here are a few things you’ll notice that we did:

Added a new rug to add color and texture.
Found a table to place in front of her window (at an office surplus store).
Picked up a writing desk at World Market and placed it in front of her other desk for extra space.
Found white file cabinets (at the same office surplus store) to break up the dark wall color.
Shopped for a leather chair and grabbed one at Homegoods to tie in the cognac color.
Added new pictures and a few new accessories (plants, signs, mirror).
Found a console unit to house her copy machine/printer.
