Breath of Fresh Air - Spring Home Tour

Spring is one of my favorite seasons because everything about it points to new life and growth. I feel like my soul comes alive in the Spring with warmer temps, trees budding and flowers that begin to pop up from the soil. I love signs of new life!
This year, I’m incorporating greenery and flowers around my home to remind me of the newness that Spring brings. I hope that these spaces inspire you as you decorate for Spring!
Dining Room
In this room, I added white tulips, tan pillows and greenery, of course! The pillows help to tie in the tan colors that I’ve got going on in here…the cutting board under tulips, the candlesticks, the planter, the wicker baskets and the throw.
Living Room
In this space, I added pops of light pink that go with my rug which is layered over a jute rug. I also placed several canvas pictures (that I actually painted…woot woot!) above the board and batten in this space. I used paints that I had on hand and picked up these canvas boards at a sale from Michael’s. Decorating doesn’t have to be expensive! :-)
If your room is large enough, try pulling your furniture away from the wall and placing sofas at an angle to change the look of the space.
Mantle
As you can see, I love bringing natural elements into my decor. I cut these branches off of a tree a few weeks ago and they are just now starting to bloom.
Kitchen:
Again, I’m keeping things neutral and adding touches of greenery. I found this botanical print from a barn sale and I love how it looks on this vintage metal board.
